Happy Saturday my lovers,
I am finally getting around to all my Europe adventures here on the blog and I could not be more excited about it. Once I got back from Europe I left straight for Mexico and then my computer broke, which totally set back my post schedule!
With all the set backs, we have had I am not going to waste any time. Let’s just dive right in shall we?
For those of you who are new here on the blog, Hi, thank you for checking me out!! My name is Victoria Ellis and I just recently graduated from the University of Oklahoma. To celebrate my friends and I decided to backpack Europe for a month (some of them stayed longer than I did and explored some other destinations — I was jealous.)
Anyway, to to kick start my month long back packing excursions my bestie Emma and I, who you will be meeting in the pictures below, flew straight into Paris. We flew out on the 11:50 pm flight, which was awesome. It was great because we were able to sleep (well try… I have a hard time sleeping upright, but who doesn’t right?) When we landed in Paris it was around 2 pm their time, if I remember right and we were ready to kick start the day! The first thing I wanted was a chocolate croissant and an espresso. Go figure!
When I was younger my family and I went on a long trip like this to Paris, London, and Croatia. It was fun for me to go back and see what I remembered of Paris. Since all the flooding in France was happening around this time the Lourve was closed down. I was so sad because I wanted Emma to see it but we still were able to snag a few pics outside of it. We stayed at THE CUTEST hotel (Hotel Mayfair) I have ever laid eyes on, which I will be doing a whole post over – so stay tuned. It was right across the street from the Lourve! Literally the best location if you are going to Paris. We were able to ride bikes everywhere and just enjoy all the beautiful cafes and architecture. I love seeing all the buildings and being in the city atmosphere because ti helps you really get a taste of the city. The first day we just enjoyed being there and kicked around the hotel! I will share my most FAVORITE NIGHT EVER at the Eiffel Tower with you guys in a few days, so stay tuned and stay classy babes.
